For Photographers - How I Shot It

In the shot below you can see the California Sunbounce Sun Scrim overhead. The Sun Scrim is a metal frame with a translucent fabric attached. You can choose from a wide selection of fabrics to allow you to get the light you want. By having the sun pass through the fabric it softens the light allowing to get a more pleasing light on the model.

In the shot below you can see the California Sunbounce Sun Scrim overhead and the California Sunbounce Big reflector. By adding the reflector we can selectively fill in a shadow area. We are using the "Feather" technique. Feathering the light means not using all of the light we COULD get, but only part of it. We are using the white side of the Big fabric.

This fashion advertising image shot for Justin Hat Company, was shot close to noon in Wolcott, Colorado. By using a few light control devises we can deliver a well executed image.

Shot in color with a Canon Professional Digital Camera set in RAW mode & a Canon 16-35 zoom lense set at 35mm, then processed in Photoshop as a full color 16 bit file then converted into B&W then toned.
