
This image was shot when we had miserable light. This is about 30 minutes after sunrise and we had heavy cloud cover. As luck would have it I was being videoed by California Sunbounce who was trying to show other photographers how I use their product. California Sunbounce had just developed a new product, the Flash Bracket, which they dragged out and showed me. It was a small lightweight arm that can be attached to any of their reflectors and it would hold up a lightweight flash. My crew pulled out the Lumedyne packs, MicroSync radio sync trigger & using the the Flash Bracket, attached a small round head to a "Mini" California Sunbounce reflector. The shot above shows what the light looks like when we were using this and the shot below is what it looked like without. |

This advertising fashion image was shot near Wolcott, CO. The light is from a heavy overcast sky and the Lumedyne Battery powered strobe. I was using 12 watt seconds to shoot this image. The Gear: Canon Professional Digital Camera - 1/160 @ 100 ISO in RAW mode. A Canon 16-35 lens set at f5.6. Light: Lumedyne strobe pack, Lumedyne round head, MicroSync radio sync trigger, California Sunbounce Pro & Mini reflectors and a California Sunbounce flash bracket.
