The lighting was a Lumedyne head connected to a Lumedyne pack, the head had a Lumedyne grid spot to confine the light scatter.
Initially I was shooting with the model standing but decided to have Chris squat. My wardrobe styling crew pulled a boot & had Chris to take off his running shoes & put the boot on. I then realized if I wanted the boot to "Read" (Read = To be able to see it) I was going to need more & a different quality of light on the boot. I asked the crew to get a FourSquare Soft Box with a Lumedyne head and Lumedyne pack, MicroSync radio sync trigger. They also plugged in another Microsync receiver so both strobes would fire simultaneously. The California Sunbounce reflector is to add some additional light in the shadows. 15 minutes & 45+ shots later we were done.
Shot with a Canon 85mm f1.8 lens @ f5 mounted onto a Canon camera set at 100 ISO &1/160 sec. then processed in Photoshop.
