About the Video
This fashion project was shot in Littlerock, California. The "Rocketship" started life as a belly tank for a jet fighter. It was bought at surplus by a racer who turned it into a race car to run at the Bonneville salt flats in Utah. They fabricated a windshield, cut openings into the tank for the driver and the engine, added a front axle & rear axle and installed a 455 cubic inch (7.45 liters) Oldsmobile engine. The current owner bought the tank as a photographic prop. You can still see the list of sponsors on the side of the tank, Micky Thompson, Engle Cams, Burbank Speed and others.
